The Municipal Socialist Group notes once again the lack of will to reach agreements from the government team (12/06/2020)

| In this case, to develop investments in the municipality for the amount of 420,000 euros, coming from regional subsidies | We declare that Totana needs agreements to improve the lives of totaneros and totaneras, and we regret that the Mayor again breaks the consensus of the left, and that his efforts to impose and manipulate and lie to public opinion with non-existent and false agreements between PP and PSOE, they lead the municipality to instability and paralysis. The Works and Services Plan is money that the Autonomous Community gives to municipalities with less than 50,000 inhabitants to make arrangements and infrastructure in each one of them. The municipality of Totana corresponds to about 420,000 euros. To qualify for this grant, you must submit projects budgeted within this range of money. The current government team asked the other parties to contribute projects that they considered important to improve our municipality.

The only party in our municipality that has presented these projects has been the PSOE.Among the multitude of infrastructure needs that Totana has, the PSOE requested three projects that are: 1- Arrangement of the national highway 340 2- Arrangement of the sanitation and supply network, plus paving for the section that remains to be undertaken on Calle Cañada Zamora.3- Improvements in energy efficiency in the Manolo Ibáñez Municipal Pavilion, which results in economic savings. These were presented because in the previous legislature they were left unrealized but most of them were already drafted and budgeted, or in the absence of polishing small details. The government team's response to the inclusion of these projects in the Works and Services Plan has been negative, that is, they maintain their projects and leave those of the PSOE in reserve.

Based on this, the Socialist Group asks the Mayor, once the projects reach the plenary hall, what do you expect us to vote for? What would the Mayor vote if not a single one of his proposals had been included? Remember that you need 11 votes to ensure that your initiatives thrive? We have no choice but to denounce, once again, this municipal government's unwillingness to dialogue and little respect for work and the interest in collaborating and taking our municipality forward from the Municipal Socialist Group. In the immediate future of our people, fundamental issues are presented at the municipal level and, given the way in which this government acts with Juan José at the head, we do not expect any kind of understanding with them.

As they have been demonstrating since the first day of their investiture. We have held out our hand over and over again and have never found an honest collaborative answer. It is a shame for our people and for all progressive voters.
