RECLINE, generosity in times of Coronavirus (03/06/2020)

| The NGO Life Begins with Children thanks the Totanera company and Alberto Rodríguez and Natalia Pérez for their donations | Life Begins with Children thanks the totanera company RECLINE, Alberto Rodríguez and Natalia Pérez, since with their donations they have made it possible to deliver more than a ton of food to families affected by COVID-19 in Kenya, as reported by LBC in a statement. Helping the most disadvantaged by Covid-19LBC's main job has always been to provide food, provide an education and carry out sustainable projects to improve the lives of orphaned children in rural Kenya.

However, the current situation that humanity is going through because of Covid-19 has affected the whole world and the Masai are no exception.

Most live on livestock and the closing of the markets has had a strong impact on their day to day.For this reason, Life Begins with Children (LBC) has broadened its horizons to go even further and aims to help those Masai families who are suffering from the lack of essential products by not being recognized by the Administration and, therefore, who do not receive no financial aid from the government.Local collaboratorsLast May 17th, thanks to the joint donations of the totanera company RECLINE, Alberto Rodríguez Martínez and Natalia Pérez Andreo, Life Begins with Children together with the nurse Maggie in Massailand (Kenya) has started a collaboration to provide food to the affected families due to the Covid-19 pandemic, LBC sources told Totana.com.Food donationLBC has already managed to donate more than a ton of food, specifically, rice, legumes, salt and oil.

This year, the association intended to focus on medical camps, but they have been postponed due to the current situation.

Thus, they have decided to redirect the economic funds to where they are most needed.Food has been distributed to more than 150 households, which house at least 6 people per household, helping a total of more than 1,000 people.

Although it may seem a limited amount, it means a great contribution to many: older people, orphans and widows, people with disabilities, patients with chronic diseases and large families. The donation has been carried out in the Nasaru, Saikeri, Olmeroi, Embarbal, Olmaroroi, Isek, Ilkilorit, Olloropil, Osilalei, Ntinyika and Olkudate areas.ThanksThis work is possible thanks to the contribution of many people, and especially to Nurse Margaret Moitallel.

He was born and raised with a Maasai tribe, and was fortunate enough to be able to access university.

She has become a nurse who has decided to give back to her community everything they have done for her and she has recognized her great generosity.

For the past few months, he has been working to make the Masai access to food. “Thank you very much to LBC and to all the collaborators who have joined to see this charity program grow.

On behalf of my community I want to thank with all my heart all the people who have helped us.

” With these words of thanks, Maggie sends us the following images.
