The Totana City Council material damage insurance policy contract is resolved by mutual agreement, starting the procedure again (03/06/2020)

The Local Government Board has recently resolved, by mutual agreement, the Torna City Council's property damage insurance policy contract, signed in September 2019 with the commercial company “Royal Mediadores, SL”.In July 2019, the simplified open procedure to award this contract began, being awarded in September of the same year to the aforementioned company for 23,1774.02 euros, with a duration of two years.In October 2019, the insurer "Liberty Seguros" explained to the City Council that "Royal Mediators" was only an exclusive insurance agent for their company, and as such, did not meet the requirements of the contract specifications to be awarded.Thus, in March 2020, "Royal Mediadores, SL" requested the resignation of the contract by mutual agreement.

Subsequently, the Governing Board, in its last session, has agreed to initiate the file to contract said policy through a simplified open procedure.
