Totana the only municipality in the Region of Murcia that would not go to phase 2 as of Monday due to the epidemiological outbreak registered last week (19/05/2020)

Based on this, 8 of the 9 health areas show health indicators of adequate evolution of the pandemic.However, in Totana, epidemiological information shows that there is a current outbreak and several active cases, and caution must be exercised in de-escalation measures.In this way, the indicators on monitoring the pandemic in the Region of Murcia support the change from phase 1 to phase 2 in all municipalities except that of Totana, because epidemiological information shows that it is necessary to continue with an exhaustive control of the outbreak and active cases.Therefore, it is recommended to continue at least in phase 1 one more week and in light of the evolution of the aforementioned outbreak, make the recommendation to move to phase 2 with greater epidemiological guarantees in the future, according to the report transferred to the mayor.
