| That seriously endangers the efforts of all citizens during confinement | The mayor, Juan José Cánovas, has warned, by the information that is in the hands of the City Council and that has been transferred by the Health Area III of the Ministry of Health, of the existence of a worrying outbreak of infections in Totana that seriously puts endangered the effort of all citizens during confinement.The first mayor has expressed his concern about the official data that has been transferred in the last few hours, and that places Totana in a "very complicated moment" of the crisis; Although it has declined to give details so as not to alarm the population and preserve the right to privacy and image of neighbors and companies, letting the health authorities and security forces operate.Juan José Cánovas explained that the regional health authorities are "very concerned" about the situation in Totana; And he warned that "if there is a regrowth or outbreak, it can be a very difficult situation to tackle, if we are not able to put our own will".In this regard, he added that the 90% chance that we will succeed no longer depends on the rules decreed in the state of alarm, but exclusively on the individual attitude of each person and their actions with common sense and responsibility or not.Cánovas has insisted that the only way to tackle the situation in Totana is "putting everyone on our side, because the virus is lurking"; and he regretted that action is taken only "for fear of punishment."In addition, he recalled the obligation and need to comply and enforce the recommendations in our environment: we must stay as long as possible at home, and recover the social and economic life in the de-escalation gradually and without the rush they have been giving rise to this situation because, in the opposite case, it will go back in the de-escalation.He has also predicted that "returning to the previous situation can be very complicated from a human, social and economic point of view, but the need to apply common sense is urgent," he said.Likewise, he has reiterated that, if he does not comply with the regulations and despite having passed the confinement with a note thanks to the common effort of the neighbors, Totana can now enter a "very serious situation".The mayor wanted to send a message to the citizen groups, workers and businessmen of Totana in the face of the demand to maintain the obligatory norms, such as the placement of masks in public places, social distancing, hygiene measures and spending the least amount of time in the Street.Lastly, he added that “we have hope and we can get out of this situation; but the situation is going to depend a lot on whether some attitudes are redirected immediately ”.
