During these inspections, the agents examined the log books of the renting operations carried out in recent weeks, until they located several of the vehicles that, supposedly, had been used to commit the theft. The civil guards found out that the person related to the rental of the vehicles had also been in legal dispute with the complainant for the ownership of the effects under investigation, which were finally judicially granted to the complainant.
