The ORA will be reestablished starting next Monday, May 18 (12/05/2020)

| In order to facilitate a greater rotation in the use of squares after the measures of social relief and commercial activity | The City Council of Totana will maintain the suspension of the regulated parking service (ORA) until next Monday, May 18, which will resume its operation again after the stoppage caused by the state of alarm; and every time that work activity and the gradual exits of citizens to the public highway are being restarted progressively. This was agreed today by the COVID-19 Coordination Table in Totana, which is made up of the mayor, Juan José Cánovas, and the local Police and Civil Guard officers in this municipality. The suspension began on March 16 when the confinement of the population was decreed to facilitate it and prevent citizens from having to move to pay the ORA ticket. The parking regulation system is found in areas where they require greater rotation in the use of parking spaces, as they are commercial areas or areas with an influx of workers; circumstances that are limited in this first phase of the de-escalation, but that are already beginning to generate some activity since bars and restaurants can use 50 percent of their terraces and access to shops is limited to 30 percent of their capacity .This service, which has more than 220 spaces distributed in the central streets of the urban area, exists to order parking in the areas with the highest traffic density in the city.Parking regulations are divided into two categories: the general use area (blue color), where all resident vehicles will pay for parking time with a maximum of two hours; and the resident one (orange color), where residents with a badge can park without time limit and without the need to obtain a parking ticket at the vending machines, in addition to the places reserved for people with disabilities.Regulated parking hours are 10:00 a.m.

to 2:00 p.m.

and 5:00 p.m.

to 8:00 p.m.

on weekdays and will be free on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
