| To provide maximum protection to health professionals, in the face of the health crisis | The objective of this new option is to provide more agile protection to health personnel and victims of gender violenceThe Department of Women and Equal Opportunities reports that the Ministry of the Interior has enabled new functionality in the AlertCops mobile application to provide maximum protection to health professionals, in the face of the health crisis in the country.AlertCops is a system created by the Ministry of the Interior together with the National Police Force and the Civil Guard, which allows to communicate by chat and send geolocated alerts with images and videos to the nearest police center.The application has been updated incorporating the "SOS" button for health personnel, so that they can ask for help in a more agile and effective way.
Regarding its operation, once the button is pressed -at least 5 times in less than 6 seconds- the app sends a notification, accompanied by an audio cut captured at that time, to the nearest control center automatically and with priority attention.Health personnel interested in installing this new functionality, must enter the word "APSA", with their DNI or NIE in the "My Data" section of the application.All the information about AlertCops can be found at this link: https://alertcops.ses.mir.es/mialertcops/From the Department, we recall that the professional team of the Attention Center for Women Victims of Gender Violence (CAVI) in Totana continues to operate with telephone service, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m.
to 3:00 p.m., offering psychological support services, social support and legal advice, at the following telephone numbers 968 41 81 77 and 638 989 402 and at totana@cavis.es, 24 hours a day.
