The Brotherhood of Our Father Jesús Nazaeno and the Holy Sepulcher delivered to Civil Protection last night a total of 550 masks for professional use FFP2 and more than 140 liters of hydroalcoholic gel for distribution, over the next few days, to professionals of the Local Police, Civil Guard , Civil Protection, the two Health Centers and the "La Purísima" residence in Totana.The award ceremony took place at the Municipal Center for Civil Protection, formerly La Cruz College, was carried out by the president of this brotherhood, Alfonso Andreo Sánchez, with the presence of the mayor, Juan José Cánovas, the parish priest of Santiago, Francisco José Fernández García, and the person in charge of the Association of Civil Protection Volunteers, José María Sánchez.The Brotherhood of Our Father Jesus Nazarene and Holy Sepulcher has decided, with the approval of the consiliary and after not being able to celebrate the Easter processions this year, to dedicate the budget for the floral decoration of the thrones to the purchase of sanitary material for , to the extent possible, facilitate the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.Civil Protection will be in charge of its distribution after the brotherhood has obtained, with great effort and after several weeks of search and paperwork, the acquisition of said medical equipment.The Brotherhood wants to take advantage of publicly thanking the professionals involved for their involvement and effort, and they hope that this material will serve to continue working with the same dedication that they have shown so far.
