| To avoid possible contagions in the exercise of their job performance | The Totana City Council has launched a training course for public employees that offers information on the coronavirus and on the protection measures to avoid possible contagions in the exercise of their job and professional performance.This training action is compulsory and will be carried out in person in the case of workers who do not carry out telework and online in the case of those who can or have already been doing this method of work in recent weeks.In fact, essential service workers who are gradually going to join their positions over the next few days (Municipal Warehouse and Municipal Water Service) are already carrying out this specific mandatory training on protection against COVID-19 this week.Among the contents of this action, the first specialized in this area, there are both information on the disease and its possible routes of transmission, as well as general protection recommendations, keys for emotional management or basic instructions for cleaning workplaces and social distancing.

.The course is called "Prevention of Basic Occupational Risks on COVID-19", and also contains specific training in prevention measures for personnel who perform tasks that serve the public, among others.The efforts of the Consistory have focused since the beginning of the health crisis on putting the conditions so that all the workers whose functions allow it could carry out their work from their homes, and protect those who have had to maintain the minimum public services.
