The Socialist Group at its own request, holds a telematic meeting with the Mayor (07/04/2020)

We offered the hands of socialist militants to help with the disinfection tasks that local farmers will carry out, as well as the collection of disused computer material to donate to the most vulnerable students.

The Socialist Group of Totana in a meeting held with the Mayor, was interested in the situation of the Municipal Residence, by the most vulnerable groups in the municipality, by the disinfection tasks in the municipality, by the need to not generate inequality in the educational field because there are students without resources to follow the classes, and although we value the effort that the Totana City Council with its human capital is making.

The Socialist Group wants to show its collaboration, and that is why we offered the Mayor the execution by the PSOE of a campaign to collect disused computer material, and its subsequent distribution among the students who most need it, we offered the hands of our militants and sympathizers to join the disinfection that local farmers are going to carry out, or the altruistic collaboration of a local company to disinfect public buildings, according to a statement sent to Totana.com.

The Socialist Group states that it is time for all the political formations of Totana to act responsibly and generously, in the task that urges us in the coming months to rebuild the social and productive fabric of the municipality.

It is time to show the neighbors that we are up to the challenge, and not to use in a mean and miserable way, this hitherto unknown global health crisis.

In this sense, we ask that in the coming weeks a period of consultations be opened with the political formations so that we agree to take fiscal measures, which allow no one to be left behind.

In the same way, the Socialist Group reaches out to the government team to make all the necessary steps in the Government Delegation, and before the Government of Spain to try to mobilize all the necessary resources for the municipality of Totana.
