The City Council of Totana has attended since last March 30 about thirty through the telematic service of advice and employment guidance available on the municipal website www.totana.es about activities and essential services that may be maintained after the last entry in force of the decree law.
The City Council launched this tool, attended by municipal technicians, that would allow residents to help interpret essential activities and services under the new regulation approved by the Council of Ministers, coinciding with the social and health crisis caused by the pandemic of the coronavirus.

The consultations are diverse and varied;
They range from requests for information on the activity of freelancers, online sales, activities of consultancies and agencies, and the work activity of trade personnel (carpenters, plumbers, electricians, etc.).
In addition, questions are asked about the activity of the food and agriculture sectors, recoverable paid permits, travel agencies and flight cancellations, travel for family care, appointments in Social Security, social assistance for meals and payment of rooms , incapacity for work, childcare and energy services.
Interested persons must complete a form for queries and doubts, so that they will be answered by municipal technicians;
who will guide you about your concerns and will refer you to the services or administrations in charge of the resolution.
There is also special interest in restrictions on citizen mobility and possible aid for the decrease in income due to the fall in labor activity in different sectors.
The municipal employees only guide users and in no case will they resolve or process documentation that may be processed by other public bodies.
Users who use this platform report that after a few days they will contact again in order to update the information if new information or legislation arises in this regard.
The norm establishes that workers of non-essential activities cannot go to work between this Monday, March 30, and next Thursday, April 9, both inclusive, to stop the spread of Covid-19.
The measure is taken through a recoverable paid leave, so workers will not lose their wages but will have to recover hours after the state of alarm, before December 31.
