The Popular Party of Totana proposes to the Mayor to assess a series of proposals to alleviate the economic pressure that the residents of the municipality are and will have to endure.
It is a battery of proposals that from the Municipal People's Group, we consider necessary to adopt in the face of the repercussions of the health crisis, so that it can be dealt with by families, companies and the self-employed.
As indicated by Juan Pagán, spokesman for the Municipal People's Group;
"It is the moment to make decisions to facilitate the lives of families, companies and the self-employed in order to be able to alleviate as best we can this serious crisis, both sanitary against which we are fighting, and the economic one that has begun and unfortunately will last more than the sanitary. "
We understand that the first measures that had to be adopted from the Consistory were to face the health part, as it is being done by the City Council, the State Security Forces and Bodies and also by the population, which has managed to respond to the orders of the Alarm status established in the country, remaining in their homes.
But we believe that the time has come to initiate a series of measures to alleviate the economic crisis that is shaking many families, companies and the self-employed, and therefore we propose a series of measures that we ask to be valued by the Mayor and, as far as possible, start-ups, showing how we did it from minute zero, our predisposition to dialogue and their sharing.
Some of the proposed proposals are the following:
Bonus for Drinking Water and Garbage receipts to those families, companies and self-employed who request it, when their activity or life has been affected by COVID 19.
Moratorium until DECEMBER 2020 of the payment of the car seal, fords and IBI, all pending the economic impact of the health crisis and open to exemption and bonus once the consequences of the emergency are analyzed.
Include in a Social Water Bonus the self-employed and affected companies.
Total exemption from the fees and taxes established for the establishments with a terrace;
bars and cafes.
Refund of the Public Taxes and Prices of services not provided by the City Council due to the restrictions in force after the state of Alarm (nursery schools ...)
Therefore, from the Municipal People's Group yesterday we requested in writing that the Mayor assess the following measures and implement them in order to be able to take measures that help the population.
