This is a proposal that has been carried out in many of the municipalities and cities of Spain in memory of the people who are losing their lives because of the covid-19.

We request that the flags be flown at half-staff in all public buildings in our municipality while we are suffering from this brutal health crisis, a measure that has been implemented on many occasions in the municipalities when there has been national mourning.

All the victims of this pandemic deserve our utmost respect and consideration, we are talking about a dramatic situation that affects thousands of families throughout Spain and that unfortunately has already touched the town of Totana with the loss of a Sister of Charity, therefore, it is a way of showing the solidarity and sorrow that the people of Totana feel for each and every one of these victims, which unfortunately continues to grow in number day by day.

We must pay an institutional tribute to all those families who are losing their loved ones, as well as the deceased, who cannot accompany them in this trance of life and who feel an immense emptiness by not being able to bury them. normal.
