"La Cleofé" donates medical supplies to Totana Health Centers and professionals]
Last week, the Board of Directors of the Brotherhood of Santa María Cleofé and Coronación de Espinas decided to collaborate to the best of our ability with the difficult situation we are experiencing, donating prophylactic kits consisting of a cap-mask-gown-booties for the use of health personnel, as we already explained in the press release published with the donation of material that we made last week.
In it we already indicated that we had 120 meters of fabric to make robes and hats.
Well, the reason for this second note is to inform our brothers and the general population of the use of this fabric, which has allowed us to make a total of 23 robes and 23 hats, squeezing it to the maximum.
The robes made are of a considerable size as seen in the photos, suitable for practically everyone.
It should be noted that this fabric is laminated and very consistent, which allows it to be cleaned and disinfected after use, and most importantly, to reuse it.
This morning eight gowns and eight caps have been distributed to each of the two Health Centers in our town, and the other seven have been distributed among health professionals in our town who work in other parts of our region.
Our goal has been from the beginning that all this material benefit health professionals from our population.
We are aware that we cannot reach all of them, but we wanted to contribute, as indicated at the beginning, our “grain of sandâ€, which contributes to making these people more protected to avoid infections.
It is important to thank the people who have made this whole process successful and effective.
First of all thank Mari the dressmaker who has worked tirelessly for this material to be prepared in four days.
Thank the “LABOR Work Clothes†store for contributing material to make, and the people who contributed the fabric, the patterns, and the push, Francisco Guerao and his wife Manoli of the Association of Merchants of the “Santa Eulalia†Neighborhood of Murcia.
