The Local Police has been forced to increase, again, the number of sanctioning files opened in the last hours after the tightening of the measures decreed by the Council of Ministers last Sunday establishing the paralysis of economic activity except for services essential.
As a result of this context, the Local Police, which had reduced the sanctions in recent days due to adequate public awareness, has intensified the controls, accounting for another 20 sanctions in the last 24 hours, 91 identifications on public roads, 5 vehicles intercepted without permission and an action of requirement of sanitary authorities - as it was noticed since yesterday.
It is recalled that all non-essential economic activity must be stopped for at least the next two weeks remaining in the duration of the alarm state.
In addition, all those industries whose production has not adapted to the manufacture of sanitary material or that are not considered critical for the supply of food and basic supplies or goods cannot continue their activity until next April 9 and until further notice. .
The Totana City Council insists on the need to enforce all the recommendations imposed by the authorities, but above all to understand home confinement as the best tool to combat the contagion curve and face the pandemic.
The obedience of the restrictive measures to citizens, businessmen and workers avoids more threats to the members of the Corps and Security Forces and Local Police, who are the maximum guarantors of our security and protection in these difficult weeks.
