About twenty soldiers commanded by a lieutenant of the 3rd Parachute Flag of the Javalí Nuevo Army and seven vehicles have participated today in Totana in the support and patrolling tasks to intensify the controls of the Civil Guard and Local Police.
The military from this section of BRIPAC have established different control points in the urban area and the suburbs (in different areas), collaborating in the surveillance and control of limitations on the movement of vehicles and people in the municipality, especially , after the entry into force of the exclusive operating regulations for essential activities decreed last Sunday by the Council of Ministers.
These actions of the military of the detachment of this military base, as it happened last week, are carried out in collaboration with the municipal services, the Civil Guard and the Local Police, with the support and cooperation of Civil Protection.
The action will be repeated over the next few days as a measure that adds to the awareness of the citizens of Totana about the importance of confinement in their homes, and thus be able to control and combat the coronavirus pandemic.
The mayor, Juan José Cánovas, has received the military delegation in the Plaza de la Constitución and thanked the commanders for their collaboration and help with the residents of Totana.
