The entry of a very cold and dry air mass, today Monday, through northeast Spain, together with the entry of a warm and humid air mass through the Gulf of Cádiz, will cause very unstable weather in Spain until Thursday .
Both air masses are going to "collide" in the central strip of the Peninsula, so the cold air (unlike what was predicted a few days ago) will not descend to the south of the Peninsula.
For this reason, finally we will not have heavy rains and snowfall at low levels in the Region of Murcia, but it will also rain.
The rains and snowfalls may be intense in some parts of Spain and the temperatures will be very low for the time in the northern half.
In the Region of Murcia, the next few days will be, in general, very cloudy or overcast, with several periods of rain and irregular showers.
Instability will increase during the afternoon today and showers can occur, especially in the interior, where they will be locally intense, but of short duration.
They will be less likely on the coast.
Maximum temperatures will drop slightly.
Tomorrow, Tuesday will be an unstable day, especially during the first half of the day, when the rains may fall throughout the Region of Murcia, weakly or locally moderately.
Snow can appear at high levels, in principle above 1,200 m.
In the afternoon they will be less likely, but some more isolated showers may also fall.
Maximum temperatures will drop slightly.
On Wednesday and Thursday the instability will continue, but, in principle, it seems that the showers will be more irregular, although locally they may be accompanied by a storm and be locally intense, but of a very short duration, and especially in the interior.
We continue with the wet trend that started in the middle of March.
In the long term, it seems that little by little the instability will disappear from the Mediterranean area and, the rains that may come, will rather affect the west of the Peninsula.
