The Department of Culture is working on the development of a program of cultural activities "Totana from home", with which it wants to promote the entertainment and fun of families at home, coinciding with confinement due to the state of alarm due to the crisis health caused by the coronavirus epidemic.
The Totana City Council agreed on March 12, on the occasion of the outbreak of the pandemic in Spain, the suspension of the different events, programs and collective activities in compliance with the decisions made by the panel of experts from the different State Administrations and the Region of Murcia, as containment measures and intervention for the protection of forced health from the Covid-19 coronavirus.
Since then, not a single activity has been held or organized or promoted by the City Council or organizations or entities based in this municipality;
reason why the totanero City Council has been working in recent days in the preparation of a program of distance cultural activities that vary every week.
The information of the program can be followed through the municipal website www.totana.es and in the profiles on corporate social networks of the Totana City Council, Totana Tourism and the Municipal Library "Mateo García".
The program, which will be publicly released over the next few days, with activities such as Storytelling, Photography Contest, Drawing Contest, Creative workshops for children, Initiation to Yoga, Books and Cinema from home, “This is your Story, discover it from home ”And“ Mysteries in the Notebooks of La Santa ”.
The Councilor for Culture, Verónica Carricondo, has invited families to participate and enjoy, as far as possible, with this tool that aims to be an instrument of entertainment and fun on these obligatory days of home collection.
