Social Welfare offers Health Area III the municipal vehicles adapted for the scheduled transport of dialysis patients and other pathologies (23/03/2020)

The Department of Social Welfare of the City of Totana has offered those responsible for Area III of Health, in which this municipality is integrated, the adapted vehicles of municipal property for the scheduled transport of dialysis patients and other pathologies, as reported by the mayor , Juan José Cánovas.

With this measure, the transfer of patients to hospital centers is guaranteed, giving continuity to their health programs, and ensuring prevention and protection measures for users in this context of the state of alarm.

In the same way, with this offer the maintenance of the same is guaranteed following the established security restrictions;

and the transfer to the Rafael Méndez de Lorca hospital of four people by taxi is avoided, as has been the case until now.

The City Council of Totana has several adapted transport vehicles that are used, usually, for the transfer of users from the Day Centers for Disability and Senior Dependents, respectively.
