The Mayor's Office issues several resolutions declaring the minimum essential services to manage the health crisis situation and contain the progression of the epidemic (18/03/2020)

The mayor, Juan José Canovas, has issued two urgent resolutions declaring the essential minimum municipal services and the reorganization of public employees to manage the health crisis situation and contain the progression of the epidemic in this municipality, at least until March 30 , without prejudice to the successive extensions that are agreed by the state of alarm.

In this sense, they are declared as essential municipal services, the Local Police, Works and Services, Social Services, Municipal Water and Sewerage Service, Collection of Urban Solid Services (RSU) and Street Cleaning or any other that may be declared later due to circumstances occurrences.

In this way, all permits, licenses and vacations of Local Police personnel are revoked.

All municipal personnel are at the disposal of those responsible for the Department they depend on, being obliged to obey the instructions or orders that may be issued.

Thus, all municipal employees have the obligation to be at the disposal of the City Council for any task that may be required, as well as answer calls made from it, teleworking as far as possible and establishing the organization of rotating face-to-face shifts. and minimizing the risk of contagion.

Public employees whose jobs are likely to carry out the telework modality can do so following the orders and organization of each Service Headquarters.

Thus, as of March 19, a minimum number of public employees per area is established: Human Resources (1), SAC (1 Telephone Service, 1 Information and Registration, 1 Population Area), Warehouse (1 coordinator), Services Generals (secretary, auditor and treasurer), Mayor's Office-Communication (1) and New Technologies (2).

In addition, Social Services and Water Service will be the organization of the service carried out by the head of the same, taking into account that they must be rotating and that minimize the risk of contagion.

Extraordinary services may be imposed due to their duration or nature and be required to provide services in any workplace or perform support tasks derived from the emergency situation.

The ordinary calls of collegiate bodies of the City Council (Information Commissions, Local Government Board and Plenary) are also suspended, as well as all the municipal educational, recreational and sports services in all the municipal facilities and premises assigned to these services will remain closed to the public.

The Municipal Cemetery service will only be provided to proceed with the burials and will remain closed to the public when no funeral acts are held (notwithstanding the fact that the personnel can continue working in maintenance tasks and burial preparation).

The Totana City Council has already closed all municipal offices to the public since March 16, enabling alternative telephonic and telematic means to attend to urgent or indispensable steps by the public.
