Statement from the MOVE Sports Center on COVID-19
Given the alarming news about the spread of the conoravirus, its consequences at the national level, and especially before the news that the municipal sports facilities in the City of Totana have been closed preemptively today, we let all the members and users of the Sports Center know MOVE.
- people's health is the most important thing of all
- each facility and each activity has a treatment that makes it different.
- in terms of sports, rather than limiting or closing facilities, the solution is an individual use responsible for them
- In general, it should be said that no one is infected by sweating, everyone who gets it is through the mouth or nasal passages and all this can be avoided by keeping a safe distance from people (1 meter), not saying hello with hands or kissing anyone and of course washing your hands frequently without touching your face.
- Within the same facility, it is possible to differentiate between different sports activities.
Therefore also different behaviors and solutions.
- Aquatic activities are immune to all types of viruses since water is not a transmitter of any virus and the chemical treatment to which it is subjected and health controls make it a safe environment against viruses, as long as the towel that we use for shower is clean.
- The directed activities (cycling, yoga, zumba ...) have the risk of immobility (the member begins the activity in one space and ends it in the same space, always keeping the same users as neighbors in their radius of action). to be practiced keeping a reasonable distance between people (1 meter) to avoid the risk of contagion.
- the rooms where non-directed activities are taught (gym, crossfitness ...) where people "roam at ease" no longer have the risk of immobility but even so it is important not to occupy spaces that are overcrowded and, above all , wash your hands with soap and water before and after using the devices and / or weights.
For all the aforementioned, and because we need to continue to keep our body and mind in a healthy spirit, the MOVE Sports Center has decided to keep its doors open offering a normal service in terms of schedule and activities grill.
We reiterate that each user, each person is solely responsible for making proper use of the facilities and maintaining adequate personal hygiene.
Each person is free and responsible for implementing their own limits and responsible behaviors in the face of this crisis.
All this without prejudice to the health authorities being able to provide something else in the future and announcing that all the people who work in the center will be very attentive to the observance of all the hygienic-sanitary measures established by law and prudence.
