La Milagrosa College won last Saturday, February 29, the first place in the Regional Final of School Sports Table Tennis, which took place in Mazarrón, organized by the General Directorate of Sports of the Region of Murcia, where the La Milagrosa and Santiago schools, in the benjamín and alevín categories, respectively.
In the Benjamin category, La Milagrosa College was proclaimed regional champion, after beating San Agustín de Fuente Álamo College in the final, with a team formed by Pablo López González and Chema Baños Miras.
The Santiago School in the juvenile category also achieved a good result, finishing in third place, after losing in the semifinals with the Colegio Escuela Equipo de Murcia, and subsequently beating Jaime Balmes de Cieza College, in the match for third and fourth place.
The Santiago School team was formed by Guillermo Cánovas Crespo, Jaime Cánovas Crespo, Marcos Martínez Alonso and Marta Cifuentes Merlo.
The competition concluded with the delivery of trophies and medals to the first three classified of each category by the municipal and regional authorities.
