Families can apply for a place in schools from March 9 to 24 for the next 2020/2021 school year (03/03/2020)

The Ministry of Education and Culture has recently published the calendar corresponding to the process of admission of students for the 2020/2021 course, which will be between March 9 and March 24, according to sources from the Department of Education.

In addition, students who are going to apply for a school place in public schools and institutes and in concerted centers will have to submit an application.

The procedure is supported and facilitates the freedom of choice of parents to choose the educational center of their children.

The whole process is carried out in direct contact and constant dialogue with the directors of the schools.

The applications are processed by the centers chosen in the first option by the parents and are centralized in a unique regional system for the allocation of students according to the score scale, reports the Department of Education.

The draw of last name letters of the tiebreaker will be held on March 4, before the admission process begins, so that the families know it before making their request.

Applicants may opt for four communication channels to receive the results of the different scale and award processes: through the website of the Ministry of Education, by SMS, by email or through the Telegram mobile messaging application.

In this way, those who authorize it in the application, at the same time that the centers publish the corresponding listings, will access the information through the communication channel that is most convenient for them.
