While the Government of López Miras, led by the extreme right, raises the expenditure ceiling for 2020 by 4,779 million euros, 130 million more than last year, increasing the deficit of the Region with an increase of 2.8 percent.
We have been able to know that for this same year the tap has been closed to the neighbors of Totana.
We think it is very serious that in these budgets the government has provided an average expenditure per inhabitant per year of € 179.60, while the residents of Totana subject us to an outrage and an outrageous marginalization when trying to invest in our town just 107, € 34 per inhabitant and year.
Considering this average, Totana would receive about € 5,638,362.4, however, we will receive about € 2,268,530.5 less than what would be justice.
In addition, in a context of expanding regional spending, this brutal limitation of the right-wing tri-government seems abusive to us by knowing the situation of Totana's public accounts.
To make it clearer, in Totana, the Regional Government does not invest anything at all, neither in infrastructure, nor in education, nor in health, etc., etc.
Thus, apart from the Current Expenses for the maintenance of basic social benefits and the local police have not made any investment.
Moreover, we have even removed the multiannual investment plan for the improvement of drinking water supply networks;
an amount of € 300,000.00 per year for 4 years.
While it is true, that the previous two years were budgeted by the executive of López Miras, although he never sent them to us.
From the Socialist Municipal Group as a representative of the residents of Totana, and given the passivity on the part of the government team that seems stuck in the City Hall, we cannot inhibit ourselves when claiming the rights of totaneros and totaneras and demanding that the treatment that the government of López Miras dispenses us is egalitarian and does not marginalize us with respect to the rest of the citizens of the region.
For all the above, in accordance with our duty to vindicate the rights of totaneros and totaneras, as taxpayers that we are in equality with the rest of Murcia, and not to be considered by López Miras second-class citizens, the Socialist Municipal Group raised Last Plenary session of the City of Totana claiming € 5,638,362.4 that would correspond to us according to the criteria established by the regional investment government per inhabitant and year.
The PSOE of Totana considers that this investment would come to us to make many investments of a vital nature for our municipality, such as a Comprehensive Road Asphalting Plan, the Construction of the Fourth Classroom of the IES Prado Mayor, for the City Museum, a Auditorium in conditions or for improvement of Sports Facilities.
