Yesterday, Sunday, March 1, eleven athletes of Club Atletismo Totana participated in the "Alcantarilla Air Base" race, organized by the Alcantarilla City Council, the Air Force and the Famu.
For the seventh consecutive year, this test was held which, despite its youth, has managed to become a regional benchmark due to its good organization, as it has a large corridor bag, four supplies, batucada and rock groups during the test and excellent aftercare services.
Minutes before 10 in the morning the main street of Alcantarilla cried out full of people, the bustle stopped for a minute in which there was silence in tribute to Commander Garvalena.
At 10 hours and 5 minutes there was an exit in which 4,000 people left willing to finish the test and beat their best personal brands, among them there were 11 members of the CAT.
In the distance of 5 km Fiona Pracht and María José García "May" participated, both finished the test in a great time of 34 minutes and 44 seconds.
In the 14 km one, the first to cross the finish line was Pedro Cánovas, he did it in position 93 of 1,800 athletes, and 24 in the senior category and with a 55-minute and 43-second clock (at 3:58 minutes the km) .
A few seconds later Poli Alcaraz ended, with a time of 57 minutes and 29 seconds (4:06 km), occupying the 135th position of the general and 31 of its category.
Carlos Ballester, also crossed the finish line below 60 minutes, with a time of 57:44 minutes, (at 4:07 km), in position 140 of the general and 39 of its category.
Paula Pérez, was the first athlete of the CAT to cross the finish line, was fourth in the M45 position, with a great time of 1 hour, 5 minutes and 43 seconds, (at 4:41 minutes km).
José Pérez, made the majority of the tour accompanying Paula and entered a few moments after her, performing a good time of 1 hour, 5 minutes and 56 seconds occupying the 69th position of her category.
Rut Cánovas, ranked sixth in the Women's Master 45 category with an excellent time of 1 hour, 6 minutes and 8 seconds (4 minutes and 43 seconds per km).
Bernabé Martínez, premiered in the distance with a good time of 1 hour, 6 minutes and 8 seconds occupying the 36th position of the general.
Susi Andreu, finished the test in an excellent time of 1 hour and 19 minutes (5 minutes and 40 seconds per km), in position 23 of the M45 Women's category.
Ino Casanova, made the 14km in a good time of 1 hour and 25 minutes (at 6:04 km) occupying the 35th position of the M45 category.
