The V Vrutrail will take place next Saturday, February 15 (10/02/2020)

The tour begins on February 15 at 9 in the morning. Once we leave the Caruana estate, we travel part of the road that goes from the village of Purgatorio to the hermitage of Santa Leocadia.

You will only have 500 meters of asphalt to advance.

Those who are going to dispute the test must advance in this section, since in the next one, Caño de la Balsa Grande, the overtaking will be more complicated.

The first slopes will start from the Big Raft along the local Alquerías trail.

Then continue along the path of the Lentisco until the hill of the Yeseras.

At this point the 1st refreshment will be located.

km 6.3.

Maximum hours allowed 9.31h.

After 1 km of track we will reach the Pilón pass.

Civil protection will monitor the crossing of the Morrón road.

The firewall of Peña Apartada will take us to the hill of the same name, first along the path of the Cuesta de los Cojos (or Ballesteros), and then along a small path.

In the descent after 1 km of path we will reach the Bermejo pass.

Be careful with the first section, if it is wet it will be slippery.

After 2 km of downhill track we will arrive at the 2nd provisioning station, km 10.8.

Maximum time allowed 10.53h.

We leave the track and! EYE!

technical and dangerous descent through the firewall of the Casa de las Labores to the path of the Espuña river ravine.

Smooth descent to the Perdigón road.

Civil protection will monitor the crossing.

We continue along the forest defense strip to the Perdiz road.

3rd refreshment post.

km 15. Maximum hours allowed 11.37h.

Port begins

We climbed the path of the gorge of the Gallego ravine.

700 meters above, we leave it on the left until we step on the Perdigón road again, about 250 meters of asphalt guarded by Civil Protection.

We now face an unprecedented path in the races through Sierra Espuña: the La Viga path, popularly known as that of the 2,000 curves.

This path has the same slope as the Canaleta but saved with small zigzag that make the climb to the Mangueta pass more "comfortable."

4th refreshment post.

19.8 km

Maximum hours allowed 12.27h.

We continue up the path to the highest allowed in the Morrón, near the Torreón de los Exploradores (1,520 meters).

After 500 meters of asphalt the descent towards the bottom of the ravine of Enmedio begins.

A very technical descent at the beginning through the military pipeline, to then take all the curves that will take us to the forest house of Carrasca.

At the junction of the pipe with the Pinillo road, the 5th supply station will be located.

23.6 km.

Maximum hours allowed 13.07h.

The passage through the ravine of Enmedio is done on the path.

First the one that joins Carrasca with the house of D. Blas.

Then following the path of the umbria to the door of the ravine where the last supply station will be.

km 28.1.

Maximum time allowed 13.55h.

3 km later in continuous descent and by asphalt we will reach the goal.

As always spectacular reception in the magnificent facilities of Caruana farm to all participants and friends by the Ventanica club.
