The municipal football stadium "Juan Cayuela" has resumed its activity of competition and training this past weekend after the work of reseeding the lawn undertaken last November by the Department of Sports.
These tasks were undertaken in the last week of that month in order to make use of the best conditions of this municipal installation, and since then maintenance work has been carried out to last until the end of the season.
The arrangement work was carried out, as in previous years, by the company "Servicadow, SL", with registered office in Elche (Alicante), with a budget amounting to 7,642.14 euros.
The first actions consisted of the removal of the grass and aerated by hollow puncturing in order to decompact the surface of the playing field.
Subsequently, we proceeded to reseed with winter grass, so we had to wait until the grass germinated several weeks.
During this time it was not possible to step on the grass at full capacity in order to guarantee its maintenance until next summer.
