It is approved to extend the contract of assistance in demolition of pavements, excavations, fillings and restitution of pavements in the Municipal Water Service (28/01/2020)

The Local Government Board has recently extended the contract with the mercantile "Servichar Espuña SL" the contract of assistance in demolition of pavements, excavations and land fillings and restitution of pavements (with the exception of bituminous hot mix) for the Municipal Service of Aguas, from February 1, 2020 until July 31, 2020, while the new contract is being processed and awarded.

On December 15, 2017, the aforementioned contract was signed between the City Council of Totana and this commercial one, whose start date was February 1, 2018, for a duration of two years without the possibility of extension.

Although the current contract does not foresee that there may be extensions after the initially established period has elapsed, however, and considering that there are reasons of public interest not to interrupt the provision, given that this service is complementary to the Municipal Service of Potable Water and Sewerage of obligatory provision by the City Council.

In addition, it is anticipated that as of the expected expiration date of the current contract (January 31, 2020), it is not possible that the new contract will be awarded, the current contract will have to be extended for the time between the end of the current one and the award of the new one.
