The last book by Ginés Rosa, entitled "The fountain of Totana from the 18th century. One hundred faces of a singular work" will be presented on Friday, January 31 (29/01/2020)

The last book of Ginés Rosa López, entitled "The source of Totana of the eighteenth century. One hundred faces of a unique work" will be presented on Friday, January 31 in the municipal hall "Gregorio Cebrián", starting at 20:30, according to sources of the Department of Culture.

The historian and writer Totanero died on January 18 of last year, at the age of 76;

after having received in December 2017, during the program of patron celebrations of Santa Eulalia, the Title of Favorite Son of the Loyal and Noble City of Totana, also giving name to the municipal theater of the Socio-Cultural Center "La Cárcel" of this location.

At the time of his loss, Ginés Rosa had just finished this book and was finalizing the publication of the work, which had taken him several months of work, and that he wanted to match after the rehabilitation works of this infrastructure that the Community had undertaken Autonomous

This book, edited by the City of Totana and illustrated with numerous historical and other contemporary images in color, collects in 104 pages the historical evolution and the social significance that this infrastructure has had in the life of Totana since the 18th century.

Ginés Rosa López (Totana, 1942), graduated in Philosophy and Letters from the University of the Balearic Islands and in History from the University of Murcia, is a student of the history, popular themes and customs of this municipality, which has allowed him to edit many articles of great scientific rigor and books related to local themes.

Among them are the titles of the trilogy "Totana endearing" (1999), "With accent of my people" (2001), "Stories of Totana" (2003), "The snow wells of Sierra Espuña.
