The XIV MTB Memorial "Domingo Pelegrín" -Great Los Joscos Award will be held on Sunday, February 9, a test that is scoring for the XCM Region of Murcia, organized by the Santa Eulalia Cycling Club, with the collaboration of the Department of Sports and the Cycling Federation of the Region of Murcia.
The Councilor for Sports, Agustín Gonzalo Martínez, and the president of the Cycling Club, José Andreo, presented this cycling test, which this year hopes to bring together more than 200 cyclists from different parts of Spain;
and that will have departure (9:00 hours) and finish in La Santa.
The test will cover paths and forest tracks of the Sierra Espuña regional park;
and with this memorial the kick off is given to the XCM test championship of the Region of Murcia.
The registration period ends on February 6 (21 euros federated and 31 euros not federated) and these must be done through the timing company Cronomur until the authorized places are completed.
The route of this edition varies with respect to previous years so that participants will have to complete a long route of 66 kilometers and 2,000 meters of unevenness;
while another short of 25 kilometers and 700 of unevenness is organized for cadets and MTB fans.
The departure and goal of the cadet tour will correspond to the first step through the Sanctuary of La Santa so that there are no transfers or possible losses.
The provisioning will be in the passage of Los Morejones, where a total of four occasions will be passed.
The president of the Totanero club also thanked the companies Viajes Espuña and Hotel Jardines La Santa for collaborating, once again, in organizing this event;
as well as the new incorporation of Mustache electric bicycles, under which a "greener" test will be held.
