The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) has issued a new orange-level warning for adverse events in the region of Guadalentín, Lorca and Águilas until 6:00 pm on Monday, due to snow accumulation in the next hours of up to six centimeters , with a probability of between 40% and 70%, as reported by the General Directorate of Public Safety and Emergencies to the City Council.
Snow accumulations can be recorded from 600 meters up to 1,000-1,200 meters of altitude.
The Snowfall and Cold Waves Plan is in situation 3 and the Territorial Civil Protection Plan of the Region of Murcia (Platemur), in a phase 1 emergency phase.
