The municipal government team has met this week with representatives of the Neighborhood Association of the neighborhood of San José in order to meet their needs and, above all, schedule a specific calendar of actions that respond to neighborhood demands.

The mayor, Juan José Cánovas, and councilors Agustín Gonzalo Martínez, Verónica Carricondo, Pedro José Sánchez and Javier Baños kept this meeting in the social center of the neighborhood;

and they informed the neighbors that the work paralyzed in 2012 will be resumed together with the CEIP San José, for an amount of 207,000 euros.

This infrastructure will have a multipurpose use managed by the Association of Neighbors, and now a process is opened to establish the criteria that will define said project and determine the functions that it will have in the context of the neighborhood and from which the project will also benefit. San José educational community.

The reordering of the Calle Mayor Sevilla from Don Luis Street and the search for a provisional connection to the neighborhood from the Arco de las Ollerías were also addressed to decongest the main access roads to the neighborhood.

Likewise, the need to project an emergency exit and entrance in the neighborhood at the height of Andalucía street was discussed.

The municipal officials and the neighbors agreed on the need to rehabilitate the Camacho Cross.

Another important issue is the search for lots to project areas of dissuasive parking and spaces to build small playgrounds in the main streets of the neighborhood.

The neighborhood representatives were invited to make proposals regarding investments in the next projects of the Works and Services Plan for the coming years;

and the message conveyed by the mayor to the president of the Autonomous Community, Fernando López Miras, was reported last Tuesday in relation to the urgent need to design and build the West Ring Road that revalue and better communicate this neighborhood.
