The mayor of Totana, Juan José Cánovas, will meet tomorrow Friday, at 11:30 a.m., in the Palace of San Esteban, for the first time, with the president of the Autonomous Community, Fernando López Miras, to address the road map institutional of this legislature and deal with matters of general interest and projects that affect this municipality in its relations with the regional Executive.

Cánovas had requested at the beginning of last August a working meeting with the head of the regional Executive, with whom he has since coincided in several institutional acts, in order to deal with the issues that affect Totana and fall within both administrations.

The delay of the meeting is due to the delay this summer in the configuration of the government team of the regional Executive with which the legislature began, under the coalition agreement signed between PP and Cs, as well as the order of visits scheduled with the mayors of the municipalities according to the number of inhabitants.

The aim of Juan José Cánovas was to meet with President López Miras before beginning a first round of contacts with each and every one of the councilors that make up the regional Executive, but he can definitely do it tomorrow.

The Mayor's Office has already sent a dossier to the Presidency with the issues that are to be dealt with in this first institutional meeting, such as the municipal debt, the processing of the General Plan for Municipal Planning, the adequacy of the new City Museum, the momentum of the site La Bastida archaeological site and other infrastructure matters, such as advancing in the construction of the future West Ring Road, among other topics.

The first mayor Totanero has been convinced that, as has happened in previous stages, "the collaboration between Administrations will allow us to promote how many projects are planned in the coming years to improve the quality of life of the neighbors of Totana."

Likewise, it will take advantage of the opportunity to renew the collaboration offer of the Consistory in all those common projects and initiatives that contribute to the development of the municipality of Totana, and to the improvement of the living conditions of its neighbors.
