The City of Totana, through the municipal departments of Handicrafts and Commerce, has promoted the campaign "Buying in Totana, we win everyone", aimed at promoting the activity of the local business fabric, basically the small and medium-sized commerce of the municipality, on the occasion of the arrival of the Christmas holidays, which will begin this week and will continue until January 5.
The special campaign aims to promote Christmas shopping in the town, and prevent neighbors from having to move to other municipalities to make their purchases coinciding with the Christmas and Kings shopping campaign.
The councilors of both areas, Verónica Carricondo and Javier Baños, have presented this initiative with the intention of encouraging the neighbors and the neighbors of Totana to consume in the local establishments, thus revitalizing the commercial activity of this locality and also promoting the creation of employment in this economic sector.
The campaign has allowed the edition of more than a hundred informative posters with the slogan of the campaign and the hashtag #CompraEnTotana with which it is wanted to launch the recommendation to make the users the traditional Christmas shopping in local shops;
as well as the message "Live the magic of Christmas, without going any further."
The signage would be distributed over the next few days, with the collaboration of the Association of Merchants of Totana, in practically all shops of the main streets and commercial spaces of the urban area;
and this will be supported by a campaign in the social media of the municipality.
This municipal initiative complements other collaborative actions developed by both departments together with associations of Totana for the celebration of fairs and events that allow to encourage commercial attractions in this town during the Christmas holidays, such as improving Christmas lighting on public roads or the Window Dressing Contest.
The municipal officials encouraged the neighbors to make their purchases in Totana at this time of the year and thanked the work and effort of the merchants to improve the offer that allows attracting potential customers of the municipality without having to move to other municipalities through more cultural, festive and leisure activities.
