The VIII Christmas Fair of Commerce and Gift of Avenida de Lorca will be held during this weekend, from December 20 to 22, organized by the Association of Merchants of this area of ​​the urban area of ​​Totana, with an extensive program of activities.

The Councilor for Commerce, Javier Baños, accompanied by the representatives of the Association of Merchants of Avenida de Lorca, Antonia Victoria and Choni Rodríguez, have presented this initiative with which it is intended to boost local commerce by encouraging Christmas shopping in the establishments that this association brings together.

The City of Totana will collaborate, for the first time, with this association that monopolizes numerous commercial establishments dedicated to the sale of different activities and products with a subsidy of 1,000 euros, within the framework of a collaboration agreement that will be approved this week in the Local Government Board.

The fair will open on Friday, December 20, at 5:30 p.m., with the typical Christmas candy tasting and visit by the municipal authorities.

During the weekend there will be various music activities, gang dance and Christmas atmosphere and games for the little ones;

It will also have the collaboration of the company "Harlequin", which will promote exhibitors and workshops of artisan products.

This same weekend, on Saturday, December 21, balloon workshops will be organized and the expected visit of Santa Claus to Totana will take place.

On this occasion, the reception of Santa Claus will be held on Avenida de Lorca, from 17:30 hours;

with the participation of the Dance Schools Step by Step and Mari Loli.

This activity is organized by said association of merchants in collaboration with the Department of Culture.

On Sunday, December 22, also starting at 5:30 p.m., the parade with Christmas and urban atmosphere of the students of these dance academies will take place;

and the draw of the macrocesta that the associated businesses sponsor.

The promoters of the Christmas Fair of Commerce and Gift of Avenida de Lorca encouraged the neighbors of Totana to visit the shops and exhibitors authorized for the occasion;

and enjoy the activities scheduled for this commercial event.
