The Local Government Board has agreed to sign a collaboration agreement, at the proposal of the Councilor for Children and Youth, Immaculate Blázquez, to grant the use of the "José María Munuera y Abadía" Reading Center to the Totana Youth Platform for the development of sociocultural, educational, training and youth participation activities.

The agreement will be signed shortly by the mayor, Juan José Cánovas, and the president of the Totana Youth Platform, Juan Francisco Torres Cánovas, also allowing the extension of the study room schedule, in the morning and afternoon hours.

The agreement includes the transfer of the use of the study room and attached rooms, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and from 9:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.

and on Saturdays and Sundays, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. for this purpose.

In addition, to extend the study room schedule, this entity will provide advice and technical assistance for associations and youth volunteering.

This agreement also includes promoting and organizing activities in coordination with other entities;

and organize talks, workshops and meetings aimed at young people of the municipality.

In the same way, the Youth Platform is granted the use of the office located in this infrastructure, from Monday to Sunday, as a meeting place for the members of this entity.

The agreement also includes financial support with the amount of 400 euros to cover operating expenses, such as insurance, allowances, and so on;

and the development of activities.

Finally, technical support will be provided to maintain coordination with the Platform and monitor and supervise the development of the project under said agreement.

The Platform of the Youth of Totana has, among its objectives, to achieve the full participation of this sector of the population in the political, social, economic and cultural life of the municipality and the forecast to develop actions of various kinds aimed at this group.
