Pedro José Sánchez has been awarded for an architectural project by the College of Architects of the Region of Murcia (10/12/2019)

The regional Film Library, concentrated last night to the best architects of the Region, to award, as it has been doing biennially, for the past twenty editions, to the best projects and architects of the region, in a gala promoted by the College of Architects , the Autonomous Community, with Fernando López Miras as the main representative, and the Cajamurcia Foundation, with Carlos Egea at the head.

In the XX Architecture Awards of the Region, the highest award went to Alberto Gil and María José Guillén, for the Business Nursery developed in Archena.

On the other hand, for his professional work, he received the jumillano Salvador Moreno Pérez award, which combines his architectural work with poetry.

In this edition we can highlight the prize in the category of Ephemeral Action for “# C12506 Collective exhibition of urban projects†to the team of students of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena at the time of project development, formed by Andrés Viedma, Benito García-Legaz , Carmen Tamboleo, Cristina Martínez, Francisco Navarro and the now mayor of the city of Totana, Pedro José Sánchez, who were tutored on this project by Jaume Blancafort and Patricia Reus.

The project was developed last year at the City Council of Cartagena, although it has been now when its designers have received the fruit of the effort with this award.

Also, at the gala, two mentions were given to Carlos Abadía, Ignacio Bautista and Pablo García, for their project in Mula “New Cynara offices†and José Manuel Chacón for the Rehabilitation of the Church of San Pedro, in Lorca.

In this edition, Pedro García Martínez was also distinguished, for 'The empty thickness.

Fernando Miguel García and Ricardo Carcelén, for 'The Architecture Olympiad of the Region';

and Ana Belén López and Ana Fernando for 'A 2 steps: walking with Tonucci' (Disclosure).

The mayor of Totana, Juan José Cánovas, and councilors Inma Blázquez and Agustín Gonzalo Martínez, accompanied Pedro José to the award ceremony.
