"XXXII Constitution Day Race", Totana.
One more year, and already 32, the popular Constitution Day Race took place, this time the event also served as a regional club championship in the distance of 5 km route.
The test was organized by the City of Totana and the Murcian Athletics Federation (FAMU), it had a distance of about 5 km, and with the difficulty of giving 3 laps to a circuit that was not flat, it had a positive slope of 50 meters
The winner of the test was the Mobel athlete, Iván Hernández, with a time of 15:04 minutes, and the winner of the test was the athlete of the Fondistas de Alcatarilla, Almudena García, with a time of 19:11 minutes.
The exit and finish line was located at the "Manolo Ibáñez" sports hall, going up Santomera street to San Antonio street, going down IES Juan de la Cierva and the heated pool.
There was a notable participation by the CAT, where all the participants made a great race competing with the Murcia elite.
Miguel Ángel del Vals, "Michi", finished the test in position 59 of the general, 9 in the M40 category with an excellent time of 18:37 at a pace of 3 minutes and 43 seconds the km, followed closely by Carlos Ballester 18:49 (at 3:44), 10th in M40 and that the previous week was present at the Valencia Marathon.
José Pérez finished the test in position 97 of the general, with a great time of 20 minutes and 40 seconds, (4:08 km)
Excellent race also made by Barnabas Mirror that entered a round position, 100 of the general, with a time of 20 minutes and 51 seconds (at 4: 10 km).
He was followed by our senior, Borja Martínez, finished the 5K at 20:59 (4: 11km).
A few moments later Susi Andreu and Paula Pérez entered, both with a time of 26 minutes and about to go down the 5 minutes the km, finished 4th and 5th respectively in the M45 category.
"V Ultra Marathon Costa de Almería"
On Saturday, December 8, the V edition of the "Costa de Almería Ultra Marathon" was held in Almería, the test had different distances, from 70 km to 30. Our partner Aurelio opted for the 32 km trail test and 442 meters of positive slope with departure in the town of San José (Níjar) and finish at Toyo-Retamar.
Aurelio finished the test in a great time of 2 hours, 57 minutes and 59 seconds in the 23rd position of the general and 11 in the M40 category.
