Kiss of Judas to organize the traditional popular chocolate in La Santa prior to the pilgrimage of December 8]
The Local Government Board of the City of Totana has recently approved the proposal of the Councilor for Celebrations, Verónica Carricondo, to sign a collaboration agreement with the Brotherhood of the Kiss of Judas and Jesus Pierced in order to organize the traditional popular chocolate in the La Santa environment during the morning of December 8, before the pilgrimage of the Patron Saint Eulalia de Mérida begins to the city.
The Consistory totanero undertakes to provide technical support, infrastructure and equipment necessary for the development of this activity subject to the aforementioned agreement;
as well as to collaborate with a maximum contribution of 2,630.38 euros to finance the expenses derived from said festive activity.
For its part, the Brotherhood will prepare and serve that day the chocolate and distribute the necessary biscuits for a total of 1,400 people;
At the same time, it must comply with the necessary and consequent hygienic and sanitary conditions required by the application of the agreement.
