Songs, paintings and poems â, by the versatile Alfonso Gallego, will be held from September 20 to October 3 in the municipal exhibition hallâ Gregorio Cebrián â;
and with this the new season of cultural activities in this public infrastructure opens.
The Councilor for Culture, Verónica Carricondo, and the promoter of the same, neighbor of Aledo and person committed to the cultural and traditional reality of Aledo and Totana, have presented this activity that will open on September 20, starting at 20 :30 hours.
The opening ceremony will feature the participation of the San Agustín de Aledo Choir groups that will perform the piece "Aledo, is our land", and Totana Strings and Voices that will sing "Ciudad de Totana";
while both groups will do it with the song "Sierra Espuña, airs of life".
The sample collected aims to offer visitors a tour of Sierra Espuña through different cultural formats, such as its landscapes through painting (watercolors and acrylics), music (sheet music and singing) and reading (poems and recited).
Alfonso Gallego is retired and dedicates a good part of his time to work as an illustrator and composer and is an active participant in several choral and musical groups in Aledo and Totana, as well as collaborator in numerous cultural, festive and traditional activities.
Gallego has already organized a first pictorial exhibition on this subject at the Aledo Tribute Tower, so this will be his second experience in this regard.
The sample schedule, which will remain open until October 3, will be from Monday to Saturday, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
and on Sundays and holidays, from 12.00 to 14.00 and from 18.00 to 21.00, respectively.
