The CAT was present in four events this past weekend: Trail Route of the Quarries, 101 km from Malaga, Junglas Nerpio and Ascent to La Santa (13/05/2019)

On Saturday, May 11, Jesús Serrano participated in the Trail Route of the Quarries of Murcia, 30 km away and scoring in the Circuit Trail Tour Famu.

The test had the exit and goal in the district of Capres (Fortuna), involving 189 athletes.

It was an especially tough test due to both the high temperatures that were reached throughout the morning, as well as the technical difficulty of the route.

Jesus crossed the finish line in 53rd place overall and 8th place in Master 45, with a time of 3 hours and 27 minutes

Also on Saturday morning there was the exit of 101 km from Ronda (Malaga) at 11 o'clock.

One of the toughest ultra-hard races in the world.

It involved 8,500 athletes, including Aurelio Canovas who from kilometer 6 began to experience the symptoms of heat stroke, finally in the refreshment of km 30 the Red Cross examined him, confirmed his hypothesis and withdrew from the test, along with more than 2,000 people who could not finish the test either, with 6,000 participants entering the finish line.

On Sunday, May 12 Mario Molina participated in the III Junglas Trail of Nerpio Sprint of 14km distance and 650 meters of positive height gain.

The athletes finished the race in the "Pico del Águila" located at 1,800 meters.

Mario was fourth overall and fourth in the senior male category with a time of 1 hour 12 minutes and 14 seconds.

This Sunday a new edition of the Rise to La Santa de Totana was also held.

The test started at 10 am from the Plaza de "la Balsa Vieja" in Totana.

Test organized by the City Council of Totana and by the Athletics Federation of Murcia (FAMU) which won for the sixth time the Lumbrerense Raúl Guevara Castellar (28 minutes and 24 seconds) and for the second time the athlete Mar Gómez (36 minutes and 20 seconds) .

In the absence of official ratings say that there was a large representation of the Athletics Club Totana, Paula Perez entered fourth of the women's general, Poli Alcaraz, Ino Casanova, Michi del Vals, Noemi Tudela, Carlos Ballester entered the top 10 local and athletes, Juan José Robles, Salva Andreo, Bernabé Martínez and Juanfran García made a good race and scored.
