On Sunday, March 17, the 40th edition of the Murcia half marathon was held.
In the 10 km participated Salva Andreo who finished in the 89th position of the general with a time of 51 minutes and 49 seconds.
In the distance of 21 km the first athlete of the CAT in crossing the goal was Edu Lucas, he did it in the position 20 of the general and 8 in his category, with a time of 1 hour, 21 minutes and 20 seconds.
A few minutes later came Carlos Ballester (1:28:40), 58 of the general and 13 in Veteran B. Paula Pérez was third in the Veteran B category with a time of 1:42:42;
Poli Alcaraz also performed 1:42:42;
Susi Andreu was sixth in the veteran category C, arrived together with Jesús Martínez, performing the test in 2 hours and 4 minutes.
Stefan Pracht participated in the "Running Festival" of Milton Keynes (northwest of England).
Finished the 21,097 meters in a time of 1 hour 217 minutes and 9 seconds, entering the position 45 of the general (45 of 1150 runners) and 5th in the Master 50 category.
The first edition of the Assota Trail took place in the Caravaqueña hamlet of La Encarnación.
The athletes of the CAT José Fernández-Rufete and Borja Martínez participated in the distance of 22 km and 1,100 meters of positive height gain, where they demonstrated their good fitness level.
Rufete who had not competed for two years did an excellent race, took 2 hours and 50 minutes, also finished in the 31st position overall and sixth in the Veteran B category. Borja Martínez arrived in the 74th position overall and fifth in the category with a time of 3 hours and 12 minutes.
