The mayor of Totana, Andrés García Cánovas, congratulated Christmas and the New Year to the residents of this municipality on the traditional Christmas institutional message, conveying their best wishes for happiness, coexistence and brotherhood these days;
and hoping that the arrival of the New Year 2019 will continue with the improvement of the general situation of Totana and its neighbors.
In addition, he recalled that these are days of recollection and company with the family, as well as stopping the daily activity;
so you have to take advantage of this time of year to make a simple reflection on those who suffer and are having a worse time in this municipality due to lack of work or illness.
In this regard, he has shown his solidarity, in his name and in that of the entire municipal Corporation, with those neighbors who need love and company and show the desire for all the people of the world who are in a delicate situation.
He also wanted to make a special mention so that next year the cases of male violence will disappear or disappear, and that cases like the recent one of Laura Luelmo, which has dismayed public opinion and Spanish society, will not be repeated.
The mayor expects, as he has apostille, that during these days the residents of Totana spend as much as possible in the company of their loved ones and that in the Year 2019 all the wishes of the people come true.
Similarly, he has welcomed and opened the doors of the city to those totaneros and totaneras who "accompany us and visit during these family dates: do not forget that Totana will always be your home."
The councilor thanked and congratulated the NGOs and associations of Totana that during these days work to help those who have fewer resources and accompany those who are more alone, because he said "thanks to them, who work throughout the year, life is made easier and more enjoyable for these people and families in need. "
Finally, he wanted to send a message of hope and optimism so that the New Year improves the situation of many families and improves the quality of life and the conditions of all the citizens of Totana.
In this sense, he said that "from the City we will continue working so that, to the extent of our possibilities, we can be close and at the service of those who need it most and continue in the line of making Totana a more livable city and prosperous, in coexistence, harmony, solidarity and brotherhood ".
