In which roads, in what streets, in what works, in what potholes that have not been financed by the Autonomous Community of Murcia, has this Government Team spent the money?
Or perhaps it has been spent mostly to place friends related to the PSOE ......?
The Popular Party denounced a few weeks ago that the Totana City Council received a valuation report from the Ministry of Finance that analyzes the 2017 budget and its settlement, which reproaches the leftist Pact Government Team, which not only did not take measures to containment of spending by reducing it by 2% as required by the Ministry, but increased it by around 4 million euros, almost 20% more.
The Ministry of Finance denounces in its writing the deception of the Mayor and the Councilor of the Treasury by not sending the information of the final budget of 2017 approved in December as required by Order HAP / 2105/2012, and in breach of it by not providing the information, wanting the mayor and his partners "to play the political smartass" with his irresponsible attitude to be able to splurge to his "whim".
The Ministry of Finance, not relying on this left-wing government team, demands a signed commitment from the mayor not to trigger the running of the City Council in this fiscal year 2018, ordering it to send the budget before September 30.
The mayor continues with the "policy of the ostrich" not giving the face on the most important issues of our municipality, this issue is a clear example of it, as is the General Plan, the arrangement of roads, the network of drinking water and sewer and a long etc.
The only budget prepared and approved by this government after a conditional report from the Ministry of Finance has been a reason for recrimination since the requirements imposed by it have not been met, even though the Government Team sends a speech contrary to reality.
Andrés García, alderman of this City Council, leaves again "hidden in the drawer" the report that brings out the colors of mismanagement that are being made by councilors, the vast majority on the payroll, since the adjustment plan has only applied the brutal tax hike to totaneros.
This left-wing team has demonstrated throughout these almost 4 years of legislature that has no initiatives or roadmap of its own, is unable to manage and work for the general interest of the neighbors, throwing in the towel at the first change and taking the easiest way is to raise taxes or blame the PP for everything.
Abandonment over the processing of the General Plan, lack of support for agriculture and livestock with no management in water policy, abandonment of road repair and loss of subsidies for the settlement of urban environments, which goes ahead, it is not precisely because of management of its councilors, but by the workers of the City Council, associations of Totana, sports clubs and the money that the CARM allocates to our people.
The serious conflicts of interests between "partners" are still paralyzed the Consistory, in fact, spend more time in facing each other than in solving the real problems of all the neighbors, continually slowing the social and economic development of this municipality.
Internal disagreements on such important issues as;
Bastida, water investments, General Plan, municipal museum etc.
they cause Totana to be paralyzed.
To all this "messed up" we must add the Mayor's concern, Andrés García, for his personal political future and for the primaries of the PSOE in Totana, where a struggle of titans is taking place for power that will add to the laziness installed in the Consistory.
