Victory of the Framusa Grasshopper in the 2 Kingdoms MTB Race in category couples (16/10/2018)

This last bridge of the Hispanidad took place in Murcia the IV Edition of the 2 Kingdoms MTB Race, Vuelta a Murcia MTB, in which numerous national and international bikers (among them the world champion Ismael Sanchez Adam) were scheduled to compete the race, whose route was composed of three stages to be played between Friday 12, Saturday 13 and Sunday 14, and which went to compete in male couples category, the representatives of Framusa Grasshopper, Antonio Gines and Manuel

The first stage was a climbed chrono of 12 km in length and 600 meters of positive height difference which was given from La Alberca and goal was in the location of the Clockmaker in the Sierra de Carrascoy and the Valley.

In this stage, the Totanero team won with a victory in the category of couples, winning the second pair in two minutes and putting on the jersey of leaders of the event, a jersey that they would not let go until they finished it.

In the second stage the bikers would have to deal with a route of 68 km and 1700 meters of altitude, with start and finish from Corvera and whose route would pass through the Sierra de Carrascoy and the Valley, with a very demanding and technical route in the one that the runners of the Framusa knew to administer the differences with intelligence, since it was another stage, and finally to gain the second stage and to increase the difference in a minute and a half more.

Finally, the last stage with exit and finish in Archena, had a route of 61 km and 1400 meters of positive height, and that passed through the Ricote Valley.

In this stage the Antonio and Manuel left from the beginning with the head of race in order to increase the differences from the beginning with the second and third pair to avoid surprises and make the descents being able to conserve mechanics.

Finally they also made the last stage increasing the difference in two and a half minutes, and proclaiming themselves champions of the general category couples.

The Team Framusa Grasshopper wants to congratulate all the finishers of the race and especially the totaneros who have been competing in the 2 Kingdoms MTB Race.
