Totana hosts from September 10 to 12 the course "Archaeological Archeology", organized by the International University of the Sea of ​​the University of Murcia (UMU), together with the municipalities of Pliego and Mula.

The plenary hall of the City Council will be the venue for this training action to be held jointly in the auditorium of the Municipal Archive Hospital of Mula (in front of the Museum of El Cigarralejo) and the Chamber of the Jars of the Municipality of Pliego, respectively.

Registration to participate in this course ends next September 3;

and enter its objectives, are the approach to the study of the great scientific and patrimonial relevance of the Argaric society whose objective is the national and international dissemination of knowledge and enhancement of the Murcia sites of La Bastida and La Almoloya.

The course is directed by the totanera professor and professor of History, María Martínez, and the one coordinated by Vicente Lull, professor at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and the chief scientific officer of the research and musealization works at both sites in Murcia.

The recipients are students of Degree in History, Anthropology and Archeology, as well as people interested in the recent prehistoric archeology of the peninsular Southeast, with special incidence in the argaric world;

and teaching staff of Primary and Secondary Education, in general.

It lasts 25 hours and a maximum number of 60 students.

The price to the general public is 85 euros and the members of the University of Murcia or the Polytechnic University of Cartagena amounts to 65 euros.

In addition, from Murcia, there will be free bus for the daily round trip to the course.
