The festivities of Las Lomas de la Cruz in El Paretón are celebrated this weekend, from July 13 to 15, in honor of Our Lady the Virgin of Carmen, with an extensive program of sports, gastronomic, musical and religious activities.
The councilman of Festesjos, Agustín Gonzalo Martínez, and representatives of the Festival Commission of the parish of El Paretón-Cantareros, Francisco Cánovas and Laura Crespo Camacho, have presented the program of events that will start this Friday, at 9:30 p.m. with the celebration of the IV Match of Soccer of Married against Married, in the field "Bernardo Cánovas" of the Polideportivo Complex "Valley of the Guadalentín".
In addition, on Saturday July 14, at noon, begin the IV Route of the Top, which this year has the participation of bars "Juped", "Jacobo", "The Cinema", "Cervecería Pitos", "Social Center "And" Los Balcones ", being able to enjoy the best tapas until 6:00 p.m.
That same day in the evening, at 11pm, the "Noche de Rumbas y Sevillanas" will be celebrated with Antonio Micol.
The program continues on Sunday, July 15, starting at 12:00, with the solemn Mass in honor of the Patroness of Our Lady the Virgin of Carmen;
and at 1:00 pm, the popular appetizer will be held in the tent installed by the Festival Committee in the church square.
In the evening, at 9:00 p.m., there will be the solemn procession of the image of Our Lady the Virgin of Carmen, accompanied by the Paretón Music Band;
and at 10:30 pm, the festivities will end with the musical performance of the group "Flash show".
