The Local Government Board has approved the proposal of the Councilor for Finance and Contracting, Ana María Cánovas, to initiate the tender procedure and approve the contract document for the rehabilitation works of the Juan de Uzeta Fountain and its surroundings, in the Plaza de la Constitución, created by the architect Francisco Guerao López, with a contract budget of 53,742.55 euros.
This procedure comes to comply with the request of Historical Heritage for the works are contracted, considering the subsidy granted by the Ministry of Tourism and Culture of the Autonomous Community to the totanero Consistory for the execution of these.
This monument is in an advanced deterioration due to its characteristics and the environment where it is located;
and it requires a special work of restoration and conservation, having to be carried out by qualified personnel in this matter in order to return its volumetric characteristics, aesthetic and constructive aspects.
The deadline for execution will be two months and the form of awarding the contract will be the simplified open procedure, in which any interested entrepreneur may submit a proposal.
