One of those arrested was arrested in flagrante delicto inside the farm.

Agents of the ROCA Team (against thefts in the field), within the framework of the 'Plan against the abductions in agricultural and livestock exploitations', began the operation to clarify several robberies committed in a farm located in the totanera district of El Paretón.

The interview with the victim allowed to find out that since the end of last April he had suffered the theft of 20 lambs, of the Segureño race, from inside the farm.

The agents investigated until they knew that the criminal acts had been committed at dawn and that, to enter the premises, they had climbed the perimeter wall of the farm.

The Civil Guard ordered several police operations of discreet surveillance aimed at locating and detaining the suspects who, on two occasions, had accessed the farm and had seized the animals.

Citizen collaboration

At all times, the agents of the ROCA team maintained a continuous contact with the rancher to know any vicissitude that could lead to the identification of vehicles or people who could loiter in the area in an unusual way.

This fluid communication allowed to receive an alert about the existence of several people inside the farm, which triggered the immediate displacement of citizen security units to the area.

In the place an individual was caught in flagrante when he had five lambs tied up and ready for his transfer, for which he was arrested.

The agents located a vehicle, which was parked in the vicinity, with obvious signs of having been used to transport the stolen specimens when finding, in the passenger compartment and in the trunk, unmistakable remains of lamb's hair.

The Civil Guard has identified two other persons, one of whom is a minor, also related to the crimes investigated that, once located, have been arrested.

Operation 'RUBISCA' has culminated in the arrest of two people, a 30-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman, both Spaniards and with the investigation of proceedings as a third party, a minor, all of them as alleged perpetrators of crime of stealing with force by escalo.

So far, three crimes of burglary committed on a livestock farm in El Paretón have been clarified, from which 25 lambs were taken, five of which have been recovered.

The operation continues open, so it is not ruled out the clarification of more criminal acts or the arrest of other persons related to the crimes investigated.
